Live Music. Who would have thought we would live this long without it. Nothing beats sitting down in front of a live musician while they sing and pick a guitar. It is something that has been greatly missed during these last months. Stupid Covid. Now is your chance to make up for lost time. Head to Sisterdale Line Pub this Sunday at 2pm for some great live music from AJ Johnston and some ice cold beer.
1211 Sisterdale Rd. Boerne, TX
Food Truck on site.
Don't forget your lawn chairs.
Most importantly half the door proceeds will benefit the Sisterdale Volunteer Fire Department.
Sponsored by The Fox 96.5, Cactus Creek Land & Clearing Co. and Sisterdale Line.
AJ Johnston is a combat deployed Army Paratrooper, with an above knee amputation lost while serving. His injury and experience's lead to a thirst for life, and a high energy performance! His band has opened for some of the biggest names in the Texas Country/Red Dirt scene (Casey Donahew, Kevin Fowler, Charlie Robison, and Zane Williams), and they have played some amazing, top venues. His songwriting is influenced by heartbreak, people's stories, and personal experiences. Songs like "Aged Rodeo", stemmed from real life experiences as a former bull rider; and "Flag Draped Box" is influenced from his experiences in Afghanistan.
